The dress code for the Peterhouse May ball is white tie preferred.
In association with Moss Bros., guests are entitled to a 25% discount on black and white tie hire, and a further 5% discount if orders are made one month in advance (see details).
The chief components of white tie for men are an evening (dress) tailcoat, white marcella waistcoat (low-cut) and bow tie, stiff shirt and collar (high, winged), formal dress shoes (patent Oxford or pump) and appropriate jewelery (shirt studs, cufflinks); women wear a full-length dress or gown with suitable accessories such as full-length gloves.
