On Saturday 13th June 2009, the Peterhouse May ball will return. We will not only be celebrating the first 725th anniversary of any Cambridge college, but also the 900th anniversary of Ely, the diocese of our founder, and the 800th anniversary of the University itself.

The theme for the white tie event will be a celebration of Britain and her rich history, an Anglo-maniac wonderland for one night only that leaps from our own day back to when it all began—passing through everything in between. We aim to create an event that is more promenade theatre than May ball; an adventure rather than just a party.

This will be a night never forgotten: a triumphant event that will be unmatchable, and an explosive beginning to May Week for all who attend.
