Full Minutes

Jenny suggests an Open Meeting motion to get green electricity in College. This was originally proposed by the CUSU Green Officer.

The Garden Party will take place on Monday 19th June. Performing groups will include Andy and Towera, Jazz from Matt Lomas and co, impressions and sketches from Dobbin, Shindler and Dalton, Nick Garrard’s acoustic guitar and Dave Kerr’s band. A bop permit for the 19th will be obtained from Dr Pattenden. Katy and Laila will settle food and drinks, Emma will hire the ice, and Pete will settle the Bouncy Castle.

Katy is to see Mr Speller regarding cash and carry. Krzys says we definitely need sausages. A vegetarian option was also proposed. The list of shopping is to be given to Katy ASAP.

Pete suggested swapping the speakers around in the bar, as one set is much better than the other. Everyone thinks this is a good idea.

The amenities situation could not be discussed as Dave Kerr was absent (again). Basically we still haven’t got a clock, new no-smoking signs or decent batteries in the remotes. We could also do with renegotiating the papers contract and making sure they’re cancelled over the summer.

The date of the next meeting will be arranged by email.
