Academic Affairs & Welfare Officer - Cini Bhanu
Hey! I'm your welfare officer, which mainly means that if you ever have a
problem or feel a bit blue… you can come to me and I'll try my very best to
help. My job involves dealing with all sorts of issues, from general
welfare to all the horrible academic stuff too. So whatever the problem,
feel free to knock on my door (I2, gisbourne court) for a chat. Or if you'd
prefer, leave a note in my pigeon hole or email cb501@cam.ac.uk and I'll
get back to you. You don't have to leave your name, I can pop a reply into
the welfare pigeon hole that you can pick up. Last year we introduced a
welfare mobile, you can text any time and I'll reply asap (07999824804). Of
course, anything that you've told me will remain completely confidential.
If you have any queries about welfare or academic affairs - what services
college can provide etc, just ask.
Throughout the year I'll try to put on events to cheer us all up, particularly during fifth week blues and exam term. Let me know if there's anything you'd like on. I know how stressful this bubble can get, so if things do get tough… remember it is my job to help you out, so make use of me! You know what they say about a problem shared… (it's not a lie).
