4 March 2002 - Fair Trade Fortnight begins, events and bargains galore
Today is the opening of Fair Trade Fortnight. Events in Cambridge include a Bedouin Coffee Tent, a Fairtrade Fashion Show, a Food Fair, Supermarket Tastings and Fairtrade bargains. Take the chance to try out fair trade products. Will you make the change?
21 February 2002 - City Council passes Fair Trade resolution unanimously
This evening all councillors from all parties voted to support Fair Trade. Hopefully we'll see Fair Trade chocolate for sale at Parkside pool and Fair Trade coffee available in the Guildhall's vending machines. For definite, the Council is going to promote Fair Trade under guidance of its Environment Committee.
