Every year the Associates put on three workshop on 8th February to help students with presentation skills.
Caroline Kerr - Newnham alumnae and professional media trainer - will tell you how to best present yourself at interviews and how to handle these kinds of nervous situations.

Hi everyone,
on Friday, the 27th January, Newnham Bar will host a stand-up comedy event. The comedians are auditing for an event at the union, so they would be very grateful to get some feedback.
The event runs from 7pm-10pm and will be held on a drop-in drop-out basis.

Coffee and Cake in the MCR |
Hello
Our lovely LGBT Officer is organising a "coffee and cake" break tomorrow, so don't miss out!
For more information, read below!
On Sunday i.e. the 22nd of January 2012 from 3.30 to 4.30 , lets meet over
coffee and cake at the MCR. This would give us a chance to get to know each
other a little better and also chart a common interest based event calender
for this term.
Also a LGBT interest based news bulletin for Newnham is also being floated
as an idea. This bulletin is targeted for those who are interested in (as
well as contribute) information on various LGBT events happening in the
university. This would be a closed anonymous group. Those interested please
email me and your name could be added to the list.
