Rob Trachsel, President & Technical Director

Rob is a 4th year Chemical Engineer, and has sat on the committee since his first term. A technician and a treasurer, he can often be found in the Fives Court banging cheap bits of wood together, or counting pennies into small plastic bags. He has been involved in a number of productions in Magdalene, treasuring Little Shop of Horrors, Guys and Dolls, and Anything Goes! with MMPS, and producing Table Manners with the Magdalene Drama Society. Most recently, he made the fireplace stand up for A Doll's House.

Charlie di Castiglione, Producer

Charlie played the trumpet in the band for Anything Goes! and narrated Operation Emmanuel before joining the ranks of the MMPS commitee. He is the Magdalene Ultimate Frisbee Captain, and in his spare time studies third year History and Philosophy of Science.

Lorraine Durham, Producer

Lorraine (Lorri) is a 4th year Chemical Engineer who's love of musicals stemmed from a very early age. Although used to being on stage, she decided to forgo this in her second year to choreograph Guys and Dolls. Last year, Anything Goes saw her back, singing and dancing. Now Lorri has returned to the commitee as co-producer.

Laura Pearson, Director

Having co-directed last year's Anything Goes! with Henry Eliot, including a cameo as a flute-pedaling gypsy, Laura has now taken the helm for The Grasps of Love. When not colouring-in her 2nd year Geogrpahy project, Laura can also be found in the bar brushing up on her GCSE French and German.

Richard Monks, Assistant Director

Richard, a third year English student, used to mock us mercilessly for our involvment in musical theatre. Such is the power of MMPS that he has not only converted, but taken the role of Assistant Director. Ha ha!

James Gilder, Musical Director

James, a 2nd year Lawyer, had such fun MDing Anything Goes! that he went straight off and wrote the music for The Grasps of Love! Multi-talented as he is, he meanwhile appeared in MDS's Tom Thumb. Now he's back with his own creation, accompanied by a crack team of assistants, Ali Skeffington (Tom Thumb, A Doll's House), Nikki Armstrong (Anything Goes!), and Steve Webster (A Doll's House).

Charlie Musgrave, Choreographer

Charlie has been dancing since she was 2 1/2, and doing musicals since she was 13. Since then she's played a range of parts from a prostitute in Les Miserables to an Indian in Annie Get Your Gun, via a space cadet in Return to The Forbidden Planet, all as a principle dancer. Let no one ever be embarrassed by anything they have to wear or do on stage - she's been there before!

Nathan Ingram, Treasurer

Nath is a 2nd year mathematician who has been involved on stage in various Magdalene Drama and Musical productions over the past year, appearing in the chorus of Anything Goes! and recently taking the lead role of Jack in Magdalene Drama Society's production of The Importance of Being Earnest in May Week 2005. This is the first time he has been involved in the off-stage side of things. As well as being this year's treasurer, he will also be seen on stage in the role of Sir Archibald Greek.
