A brief history...

Magdalene's Formal Hall was transformed for the first time in 2001, when it became the garish scene of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, providing a platform suitable for camels and kings alike.

The Lent musical was eagrely seized as a tradition, and in 2002 the school classic Grease took us back to 1950's america and the musical halls of Rydell High School.

In 2003, Audrey II descended to take over earth in the terrifying form of Alex Thomas in leather (The Little Shop of Horrors). Successive years have seen sets from the gangster-fileld streets and sewers of New York (Guys and Dolls) to the deck of the cruise ship for Anything Goes.
