Dear Medics, The first Ent of the year has been organised for next Monday (19th) at Revolution, in association with Big Fish Enterprises. The night is in partnership with 'Evolution @ Revolution', Cambridge's only night by students for students - with residents Sonic Assault (anyone who's been to Clare Cellars will know this lot well) and a whole assortment of student DJs from all over the university - and it's guaranteed cheese-free! Medics have EXCLUSIVE access to the mezzanine level, where there will be cheap drink deals all night, and all the tickets we have include reduced entry price of just £2 (£3 non-members), as well as QUEUE JUMP up until 11:30 and GUARANTEED entry up until 1:00. Dear Third Year Medics, There will be a forum for clinical schools this Wednesday in the BMS. Don't miss this chance to here from the admissions tutors from 6 clinical schools. Oxford cannot attend, but there are still 60 places on the open day! Doors open at 6pm, and the interval will be at 7.40pm. FOOD PROVIDED! SciSoc is pleased to offer a discussion of the highest calibre with Dr. Martin Mackay, Pfizer's President of Global Research and Development. Dr. Mackay will give a short keynote speech and will then give the audience the opportunity to ask questions of how a multinational concern like Pfizer responds to the currently devoloping Pharmaceutical Crisis (which is beginning to receive the label "Pharmageddon").
