Magdalene Boat Club
CAMBRIDGE

Magdalene Boat Club was founded in 1828, 400 years after the Monk's Hostel which later became Magdalene College. It is a well known fact that this makes MBC mere months older than Belgium!

2008 marked the centenary of George Mallory's Captaincy (1907-08), a period in which MBC were widely recognised as the fastest boat on the river. Today the club continues to go from strength to strength with numerous recent victories testament to the spirit and determination of its members.
