This list is used by Cambridgeshire Against Refugee Detention (CARD) for news, events, appeals for action, and other announcements. Messages are sent to this list about once a week. You can also receive shorter, more frequent messages - see the mailing lists page for details. Only authorised users can post to the list. If you have something you would like to have forwarded to the list, please send it (with an explanation that you would like it forwarded) to card@srcf.ucam.org and we will consider it; please note that only announcements relating to detention and the rights of refugees and migrants will be forwarded. This list will only be used by CARD to send information to people who have expressed an interest. We will not pass subscribers' addresses on to anyone else or use them for any other purpose. We encourage the distribution of material we produce; please feel free to copy all or part of our messages to other people who may be interested (although please do not send them to mailing lists where they will be considered off-topic, as this is likely to annoy subscribers to those lists and they may think CARD is deliberately spamming them). If you are copying part of a message related to CARD, rather than an announcement we have forwarded from another group, please make sure you include our web address (www.closeoakington.org) and/or email address (card@closeoakington.org) so people can find out more if they are interested. Using card-lowvolume
To post a message to all the list members, send email to card-lowvolume (at) srcf.ucam.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to card-lowvolume
Subscribe to card-lowvolume by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
