The King's College Graduate Society, KCGS, is a student-run society that represents the interests and well-being of graduate students at King's College, Cambridge. All current graduate students are members of the society, as are mature students and those taking certain Part III courses.

Our web page is currently being refurbished. Please bear with us as we work to improve it. In particular, we are aware that the site looks a bit strange in Internet Explorer 6 and below. It works better in Mozilla Firefox which can be downloaded for free.

New Students

If you are preparing to come to King's, or have just arrived, have a look at our Alternative Grad Handbook. Prepared by KCGS, this is where you will find loads of information about what it's like to study and live at King's.

For Current Grads

This website is still under construction and needs your help to improve it. Feel free to browse around or create an account and add some content. There's lots of blank space that needs filling, but one of the great things about this setup is that *you* can control the content. So if you think there's something that needs to be on this site, get your hands dirty and add it.

If you're feeling rather bewildered by that prospect, check out the tutorial which will hopefully illuminate the kind of thing we're trying to do here.

Otherwise, please dive right in! We're currently working on the alternative Grad Handbook - check it out.

PS: We are indebted to the good folks at Beagle who make their MediaWiki style available to all. We plan to move away from it, so as not to tread on their toes, but it provides an excellent starting point.
