Getting to the boathouse or to watch races
On the map below college is on the left hand side of the map. If you follow the green line you will get to the boathouse.
The dark blue line is intended for people who want to come and watch races.
Boahouse Directions
To get to the boathouse use the map above and follow the directions:
Start at the porters lodge and walk round into the market square.
Walk down the road on the far left of the square where Starbucks is. Follow the road untill you get to Waterstones.
There is a passage there which takes you through to a street where the first thing you see is a hairdressers.
Go left and follow the road until you come to a roundabout. At the roundabout you take the 3rd exit, ie the one that leads along the
right edge of the common. Follow this until you come to another roundabout and then go left.
As you come over the river there is a Texaco garage, take the right just before the garage.
Take the first right off this road (not the immediate one going back alongside the bridge). Follow this road to the end and you are there.
Races
For those wanting to watch races the first part of the journey is the same.
However at the first roundabout head on to the common and down to the river. Click here
