HENRY'S EIGHT, Lent 98

News and Views

In preparation for the KCBC history book, the archives have now been completely overhauled. We have also begun a campaign to restore the missing President's / Captain's books 1966-94 by writing to old Presidents and Captains, asking them to write up their years from memory and with the help of material available from our archives.

The winner of this year's Paul Stonehart Novice Chalice and Shield (for the years best novice) is Simon Freytag. Simon arrived at King's in October and learnt to row in Michaelmas term. Since then he has rowed in the first eight in some regattas and on the Thursday of bumps. He has also raced in the winning men's squad IV in the Cambridge Winter League, the Henley Fours Head, and Bedford Head.
