Announcement
Dear All,
Thank you for expressing an interest in The Kashmir Project! It was so nice to get inundated with emails for once!
For Cambridge Students - There will be a meeting taking place in Keynes Hall, Kings College next Wednesday (26th November) at 7:30pm. This will be an ideal chance to find out more about the project and ask any questions. If you are keen to go out to Kashmir this Summer, i really recommend that you attend this event. (Email me if you do happen to have any problems.)
Non-Cambridge students (Don’t need to go to the meeting unless you REALLY want to! (I recognise it’s difficult for those studying in Scotland!) Instead you will all be sent information packs with application forms within a week.
Brilliant, look forward to seeing some of you soon,
Sabah :o)

Yes, Star-Photographer Kash Gabriele Torsello is coming to Cambridge! If you think you don’t know who that is, think again. Just make sure you look out for the fine print under the photographs the next time you pick up a copy of The Observer or New Internationalist. Albania, Pakistan, Afghanistan... you name it, he has been there. Being one of the world’s most renowned war photographers, he has recently published a collection of photographs depicting the plight of the Kashmiri people living under humiliation, poverty and violence. An achievement so remarkable that it was shortlisted for the British Book and Design Award right away!
Don’t miss your chance to meet a real war (photo-)journalist. Find out why people risks their lives in order to tell the world about injustice. Find out about how to capture the suffering of ordinary people that never make the news. Find out how to remain independent in a world where media and business are merging more and more. Find out all of that and more...don’t miss it!
