jrfsoc very occasionally meets at the Granta Pub in Newnham Road at 3pm on Sundays. If anyone would like to start this up again, feel free to do so, and let me, Giselle Walker (gw265 @ cam.ac.uk) know so I can put it on the website.
We are an informal society that attempts to link up junior postdocs from the different colleges, be they research fellows, teaching fellows, teaching associates, bye-fellows or random hangers-on. This is in spite of the society's name, which was adopted without much thought and seems to have stuck.
Most of the people who turn up are currently research fellows, and the events are organised by research fellows in Darwin and Sidney Sussex colleges: Mitra Sharafi (Sidney) does most of the work but email Giselle Walker (Darwin), to be added to the email list.
