Membership

If you would like to become a member please UMS (University Mailing System - the internal posting system) your cash/ cheque (payable to Cambridge Univeristy India Society) to Nehal Gaajar, Christ’s College. Your UMS box should be in the Porters Lodge. Please enclose £6 for 1 year membership or £12 for life membership in an envelope with Anjli’s details on the front and we will send you an email when we have received your payment.     Reputedly founded by Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India, CU India Society was set up mainly as a means of facilitating a better understanding of Indian culture within Cambridge.

    Today, it serves as a social platform for both Indian and non-Indian students, with numerous culturally related events.
