Dear Freshers of 2011,
Congratulations of getting in to Cambridge and welcome to one of the university�s oldest and best societies -Cambridge University India Society (CUIS).
We have an exciting term ahead and lots of fantastic events lined up for everyone to get involved in. Make sure you come and say hello to us at the Fresher�s Fair, details of which you will receive when you arrive. And don�t miss out on this year�s CUIS Fresher�s Squash � a great opportunity to get to know lots of people whilst enjoying a traditional snack. We�ll also be holding an icebreaker event for you guys to get to know each other, most likely bowling, so look out for more information on this nearer the time. The BIGGEST event on the India Soc calendar this term has to be our club night, Zone where you can come and see MUMZY STRANGER and JUNAI KADEN perform, followed by Tasha Tah, Char Avell, J-Roudh & Chan Has � tickets will be available from any of the committee as soon as term starts and its bound to be a sell out! For the more entrepreneurial out there, don�t miss out on our speaker, Karan Bilimoria, founder of Cobra beer. We�re also hosting a one off new and exciting event this term � CUIS Charity Speed Dating... guaranteed to be a fun night you don�t want to miss. Get involved, there�s no excuse not to!!
India Soc will be running Bollywood dance classes this term � the first one will be free so make sure you come along and try it out. We also have mehndi classes on offer if you fancy getting creative. There�s a host of sports that you can get also involved in - we have recreational badminton, football and cricket lined up for you.
