20th and 21st March 2007, Wolfson College, Cambridge
As you may know we have, since 1993, run a Research Methodology workshop for the Manufacturing, Engineering and Technology Management community. The objectives are:
The first day of the workshop will include sessions on key aspects of Research Methodology for new researchers and sessions on writing and publication for alumni. The dinner provides an opportunity for informal conversations between "generations"!
The second day is designed around small interactive discussion groups with delegates sharing their research experience and problems under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
This year we are asking people to apply online at http://www.srcf.ucam.org/ifmrmw. We will write again with final programme details in mid-February. There will be no charge for attendance but accommodation will cost 36 pounds per night (B&B). Limited grants are available if the charges present a major hurdle. For more information about grants and accommodation, please contact Mukesh Kumar (Email: email@example.com)
Our sponsors -- the EPSRC -- are particularly keen to see a good representation from students and research assistants working on EPSRC related programs. If you are interested, please fill out the application form below. The quality of your application will used to allocate places if, as in previous years, demand exceeds supply. We hope to attract as wide a group as possible covering a range of research topics, industry sectors and "original" disciplines.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the event co-ordinator Mukesh Kumar (Email: firstname.lastname@example.org).
I look forward to hearing from you.
Professor M. J. Gregory
Head, Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge
Applications must be received by the 2nd of March 2007. If you have problems with this form please email Geum Young Min (email@example.com).
