E-mailing Lists

The CU Hellenic Society has two mailing lists:

1) soc-hellenic-announce, which is aimed only to:
a. inform society members of forthcoming events organised by our society.

2) soc-hellenic-misc, which is aimed to:
a. inform society members of relevant events organised by other societies and,
b. circulate news and provide general information to its members.

By default members are included in these two lists, though a member can choose to be excluded from the soc-hellenic-misc list and still receive information about the forthcomming events from the soc-hellenic-announce list.

Both of these lists are moderated by the society’s Computer Officer. Sending an email to either of the lists, (list name) @lists.cam.ac.uk, will be forwarded to the list by the Computer Officer unless of inappropriate content. This is done to control the information passed to the list and protect subscribers from spam emails and viruses.

To subscribe/unsubscribe send an email to:
soc-hellenic-announce-request@lists.cam.ac.uk with the title “subscribe”/“unsubscribe” respectively. In the message body please indicate to which list you want to subscribe/unsubscribe and give a brief explaination why you want to do so.
