Coming Soon:

Homerton College Choir is a recently reformed, non-audition society looking to help promote the musical life of the College throughout the University. Despite the myth that Homerton is a college far, far away where only the teachers go, we invite anyone who enjoys singing from all colleges to join, reminding them of the cheap Uni4 bus and that the only real hill on Hills Road is actually a very small railway bridge.

The choir will be catering for many musical tastes, from large classical choral works to modern popular music, both religious and secular. The choir is not aimed solely at music students, but is intended to be an enjoyable opportunity for anyone in the university to make some good friends while furthering an ability that everybody has, to sing.

A small number of students reading Music with Education at Homerton College formed the first choir committee in June 2005 with the support of their director of music, John Hopkins, and the College Music Society. Please feel free to contact the committee if you have any questions about joining the choir, rehearsals, music, or concerts.

We meet on Sunday evenings 5pm-7pm in the Paston Brown Room, Homerton College
