Michaelmas 07 Training
Michaelmas is a term very much focused on the novice rowers joining the club. Coaches and returning seniors welcome our new rowers, explain the basics of rowing to them and get them in a boat as soon as possible! Novices will quickly discover that rowing is not as easy as it looks, but with a little effort it won't be long before you are rowing as a crew and discovering the benefits of the sport
Draft training plans for novices and seniors should be found here around the start of term, with full traning plans following shortly. For now, the information below gives a rough idea of training commitments.
Novices: 2-3 river outings per week
1 optional land training session per week
1 optional circuit training session per week
Seniors: 3-5 river outings per week
2 optional land training sessions per week
1 optional circuit training session per week
