The Gilbert and Sullivan society is far more than just a performing society: we have social events ranging from "Singthroughs" to our annual dinner.
Singthroughs are one of the most frequent events, where we spend an evening singing through an operetta (unrehearsed, with principals volunteered on the spot), sustained by copious quantities of wine and nibbles. Singthroughs happen, as a general rule, at least twice a term, and you don't have to be able to sing to attend!
On Wednesday 30th April, at 7:30pm we will be going to Bella Italia near the Granta Pub (See Here for a map). Please email Robbie to confirm that you are going.
On Sunday 11th of May, take a break from the dreaded R word to Relax and sing through 'The Gondoliers' whilst punting. We will be punting between 11am and 3pm, with a picnic lunch. Volunteers to punt, please get in touch!
We will be hosting a picnic on Jesus Green on Saturday 31st May, with Pimms, snacks and (fingers crossed) sunshine! Join us between 12 and 3
