Cambridge University First Aid Society (CUFAS) is a student society of the University of Cambridge and a division of St John Ambulance, providing first aid and ambulance cover for a wide variety of local and national events. We also train all members in first aid and care as well as enabling them to become professional trainers. In addition to member training, we also offer a range of public and commercial training and will run courses targeted at individual student societies on request. Interested in getting involved?If you're interested in getting involved in St. John Ambulance or finding more about first aid generally, then please do not hesitate to get in touch. we take members from both Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin Universities, regardless of how much previous experience you have in first aid. We provide all of the training you need to come and provide event medical cover with us. We hold regular Tuesday evening meetings, and are willing for potential members to come along and find out more before becoming a member, please contact us at firstaid-publicity@srcf.ucam.org to be added to the mailing list and receive information about our meetings. If you are currently a member of St John Ambulance elsewhere and would like to come out on duty with LINKS whilst in Cambridge, then it is possible to make arrangements to achieve this. Please contact the committee for more details. If you're interested in first aid training, either for yourself as an individual, or for your team or society, then please do not hesitate to contact us. There are a number of accredited courses we are able to offer to non-members, or may be able to tailor a course to the needs of your society.
