My Poem About The Wall
This is the first post on an otherwise empty board
The white computer pixels burning at me to stay empty,
And with the dexterity of a pianist dancing on my paycheck
I work my bones to fill the space.
I took out my ten tiny flags,
From my tiny bag,
And I placed them on the keyboard,
And pushed them one by one until they didnt make a sound,
And then I tried again.
This is the time of flags, and keys and empty walls on my screen,
And the sound of strings drawn back.
