Falesco is the Umbrian winery of renowned winemaker Riccardo Cotarella, who is, according to critic Robert Parker, “a gregarious, highly-talented oenologist.”  Using local grapes for whites, and Merlot blends for reds, he produces some wines offering not only excellent quality but also excellent value.
