From being a country whose only widely consumed alcoholic product was gin, England is fast becoming a major player, in quality terms at least, in the world of sparkling wine.  Julia Trustram Eve, of the English Wine Producers association, will be leading us through several pairs of wines of a similar style but from different producers.  This promises to be a very interesting tasting.
