For our first Burgundian tasting for some years, CUWS welcomes Alain Dourver
of Maison Champy to lead us through a selection of their wines. Champy
produces a range of wines with consistently high quality across the board;
this, together with the fact that they are a smaller, lesser known house,
means that the wines at the lower end of the range represent absolutely
stunning value. Needless to say, the top end of the range is every bit as
good as one might expect. A real highlight of the term’s tastings, essential
