10th October – Introductory Tasting

Venue – Upper Hall, Peterhouse

The CUWS committee present a tasting to begin our annual exploration of the world of wine. We will be looking at several pairs of wines, to compare and contrast the effect of climate, geography and winemaking on the end result.
For those relatively new to the world of wine, it will provide an introduction to wine tasting and the society’s activities, as well as giving the basics needed to get the most out of our events. For those more experienced, it will be a chance to brush up on tasting skills, and of course an opportunity to sample some excellent wines.
