Varsity 2008 - Celebrating our brilliant win at Lord's
Who are we?
We are the women's section of Cambridge University Cricket Club, and our members range from complete novices to seasoned pros! Women's cricket is one of the fastest growing sports, and is gaining in recognition all of the time. Our club exists in order both to promote the sport and provide an opportunity for beginners to try it out, whilst providing top-class coaching to a squad of more experienced players who, after a promotion winning season, now compete in the British Universities and Colleges Sport BUCS Northern Premier League, and play in the annual Varsity match against Oxford at Lord's cricket ground!
RECENT NEWS:LENT TERM TRAINING times will be THURSDAY 3-5pm (starting Jan 21st) and FRIDAY 4-6pm (starting Jan 22nd) at FENNERS. There will also be a skills/fitness circuit on Tuesday afternoons.
