Varsity 2008 - Celebrating our brilliant win at Lord's
Who are we?
We are the women's section of Cambridge University Cricket Club, and our members range from complete novices to seasoned pros! Women's cricket is one of the fastest growing sports, and is gaining in recognition all of the time. Our club exists in order both to promote the sport and provide an opportunity for beginners to try it out, whilst providing top-class coaching to a squad of more experienced players who compete in the British Universities and Colleges Sport BUCS Midlands 1A League, and play in the annual Varsity match against Oxford at Lord's cricket ground!
This coming term we will train at 3-5pm on Tuesdays at Fenners Indoor Cricket School and at 5-7pm on Thursdays outdoors at Trinity Old Fields.
PRE-SEASON training will take place before term starts with a week of cricket to get us geared up for the outdoor season.
