Cambridge Uni 1-6 Peterborough

The blues got the season off to a start with a 6-1 defeat to Peterborough. With many players missing, and others playing out of position, it was a difficult start to the season for Cambridge. 3-0 down at half time, Cambridge looked more promising in the second half.

Haverhill 2-1 Cambridge Uni

Cambridge looked a much stronger side against Haverhill and were 0-0 at half time. The blues went 1-0 down in the second half from a strong header from a corner then fought well to even the score with a strike from Kate Mackenzie. Haverhill took the lead two minutes before the end with a high shot.

Cambridge Uni 1-7 Norwich City

Cambridge Uni put in a strong performance against newly relegated Norwich City, such that the scoreline did not reflect the performance. Passing and moving and working together as a team were much improved from previous weeks and Cambridge were unlucky not to have got some more goals.

Cambridge Uni 4-0 Haverhill

The Blues looked on top form as they took on Haverhill in the FA cup qualifiers. The game started well with the blues looking switched on from the start, for the first ten minutes Cambridge dominated the game with a change of formation working well. Passing, communication and awareness were greatly improved and the game finished 4-0 with all goals coming from Mandy.
