Talks are free if you are a member, or £1 if not. If you are not already a member and would like to join the society, you can join at any of our talks.

Unless otherwise stated, our talks all take place at the Vet School at 5.30pm. They will be in Lecture Theatre 2 (the comfy lecture theatre). A map can be found here.

17th October

"Why cows? A domestication conundrum." Toby Carter, from ARU, talks to us about the process of domestication.

Steve Unwin, from Chester Zoo, talks about primates, in captivity and reintroduction issues.

Also, coming up in Lent term, patrons of CUVZS Professor John Cooper and his wife Mrs Margaret Cooper will be giving a talk about their latest work.
