Membership
Membership of the CUVZS is open to any member of the University, not just vet students. Members are given free entry to all of our talks, and discounted entry for other events held by the society.
Membership costs just £5 and lasts from October 2006 until June 2007. First year vet students can join during the freshers' day at the vet school; other years can join through their year rep or at any of our talks. Non-vet members of the university can join at an event, or by emailing the secretary. Cheques should be made payable to "CUVZS", although cash is accepted in person.
Non-members are very welcome to come to any events that we organise, although we will ask for £1 per talk, and you will be expected to pay the full price for any other events.
As we are a not-for-profit organisation and receive no University funding, all monies received are used to pay for the talks and events that we hold.
