Varsity Victory!

Many congratulations to Cambridge who won the A, B and C team events, winning both the match and the Varsity trophy. Cambridge acheived first place in all three teams. Scores can be found here and photos here. Match report to follow.
BUCS Regionals 2012

Due to a large increase in national competitors this year (BUCS 2/1), Cambridge fielded only two competitors for this year's Regional competition in Nottingham. Both Katie Bertrand (President) and Laura Keys performed brilliantly, with Katie acheiving her long-coveted qualifying score for a Women's Half Blue. Many congratulations! Thanks to Gareth Tear (Head Coach) for supporting the competitors and Andrew Aistrup (Awards and Competitions) and Helen Smith for judging. Full report and scores to arrive soon...
Success for Level 1 Coach Trainees!

Many congratulations to Andrew Aistrup, Deborah Giveen, Alan McCreanor and Elizabeth Walsh who successfully passed their Level 1 coaching course, showing competance in all areas of the syllabus. They will now be able to provide coaching support to the club and progress to a higher level. Many thanks to Barry Bryce for organising and tutoring the course and for all those that supported as mentors and bodies!
Manchester Open 2011

Cambridge fielded a strong team of competitors at the annual Manchester Open. Congratulations to Alan McCreanor who placed 2nd in the Advanced Men category and Alice Bucker and Laura Keys who placed 2nd in the Novice Ladies Synchro! Full results can be found here. Fantastic Results at BUCS Regionals
March 2011
Cambridge's competitors bounced superbly at BUCS regionals in Nottingham, with Christine Schmaus grabbing 1st place in the BUCS 4 ladies and qualifying for Nationals. Susie Yates also bounced strongly, narrowly missing out on a place in the finals.
Light Blue Victory at Varsity
February 2011
Cambridge managed to win the A, B and C team competitions, despite Oxford fielding a strong team, walking away with both the Match and the Cup for the fourth year in a row. The final score was 419.3-404.9 to Cambridge.
