Competitions are arranged in ability levels, so you will only be competing against people of similar standard to yourself. Anyone can compete - the lowest level is set so that almost anyone can do it.

Varsity rules can be found here. The cup is awarded to the club with the highest total score (A+B+C teams), while varsity points are awarded to the winning team (2 points for A, 1 point for B).
