BUCS 2

Ten different elements with at least seven somersaults of at least 270° somersault rotation to include at least one of the following three elements:

  • One move of at least 270° somersault rotation, landing on front or back, followed by a move of at least 450° somersault rotation.
  • A back somersault with 360° somersault rotation and a full twist.
  • A front somersault with 360° somersault rotation and 1½ twists.

BUCS 1

Ten different elements to include:

  • At least nine somersaults of at least 270° somersault rotation.
  • At least one somersault landing on front or back, followed by a move of at least 450° somersault rotation.
  • At least one somersault of at least 360° somersault rotation and at least 1½ twists.
  • At least one somersault of at least 720° somersault rotation.
 

Vol = No Tariff

Can perform a maximum of one somersault in the voluntary routine.

Vol = Max 3.0

Only basic jumps, body landings and somersaults with a maximum of 360° somersault rotation and 180° twist will be permitted in the voluntary routine.

Vol = Max 4.7

Only basic jumps, body landings and somersaults with a maximum of 450° somersault rotation and 180° twist will be permitted in the voluntary routine.

Vol = Max 7.0

Maximum of one double somersault allowed in the voluntary routine.

Vol = No Max

There is no limit to the skills or difficulty that can be performed in the voluntary routine.

 

Qualification to Finals

This group will not qualify through to the National Finals. This competition will only take place at regional level.

20% of the number of competitors who compete on the day will qualify. The number will be rounded up, and if there are fewer than 12 qualifiers to finals further provision will be made.

Team Event

Men's and women's team event. Three best total scores (from the preliminary rounds: compulsory plus first voluntary) by the competitors from the same institution, regardless of category will be added together for an overall team score. One team per Institution will be counted. Medals shall be awarded to the three top teams. Team positions will be calculated at the final only.
