University Awards
Full Blue
Full blues are awarded to anyone who competes in the A team at varsity and scores 50.0 or higher in the elite category (level 1 or 2) at BUCS.
Half Blue
Women are awarded half blues for competing in the A or B teams at varsity and scoring 47.0 or higher in elite or advanced (level 1, 2 or 3) at BUCS. Men get half blues if they bounce in the varsity A team and score 48.0 or higher in elite or advanced at BUCS.
University Colours
Generally, anyone else who has done pretty well in competition but not well enough for a half blue will get university colours. Recently everyone in the varsity team has received colours, but it depends on the overall standard.
Club Awards
Club colours
Club colours can be awarded for any services to the club. These may include bouncing well at a competition other than BUCS or varsity, bouncing in the reserves team at varsity, outstanding services to the club, etc.
Lottie Pocock Award for services to CUTC
This award is designed to recognise particularly outstanding services to the club. Recipients of this award have gone substantially above and beyond their call of duty in serving the club. A person may only receive this award once and the award is limited to one per year, and may not be awarded in a year where no one is considered sufficiently worthy.
Training awards
Regular commitment to training can be difficult with all the other demands and constraints of Cambridge life. These awards recognise those who make a strong commitment to training throughout the year.
