2006 Summer Tour
These pages contain all the details of THE legendary event of 2006 – the CUSO Concert Tour to the Czech Republic. Based in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, the trip included performances in world-class venues (programme), dining in the finest restaurants, a moonlit cruise, wine-tasting in the cellars of a Prince's Palace... in short, a wealth of incredible experiences and a chance to take CUSO's brand of music-making to the world!
During four days in Prague, we performed in one of Europe's most prestigious concert venues, the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum (home of the Czech Philharmonic), and gave two more performances in the outlying town of Poděbrady and at the Habsburg Riding Hall near Tachov. We then travelled on to Brno for two additional nights, stopping enroute to explore the Macocha Caves – one of the natural wonders of the Czech Republic. Subsequently, we participated in the UNESCO festival at the Prince Archbishop's Chateau in Kroměříž, playing in the magnificent Hall of Mirrors and taking the time to sample some fine, locally-made wine while there.
