Join CUSAGC
This page is for NEW MEMBERS only - existing members please LOG IN to use the renewal form. Thank you!
Joining CUSAGC is an easy process - just work down the page to complete the following three tasks:
1. Supply your membership information using the online form below.
2. Print off and fill in the CRB forms below, or present a current Scout Association (not Guiding) or SSAGO CRB/DS/ANI Disclosure to the Secretary or Chair.
3. Pay your membership.
If you have any questions, please consult the joining FAQ in the first instance, or contact the CUSAGC Chair, Richard (chair [at] cusagc.org.uk) or Secretary, Emily (secretary [at] cusagc.org.uk).
Before applying to join, be aware that you will need to either have a current clear Scout Association CRB/DS/ANI check or undergo a fresh one (which must come back clear) in order to become a member of the club, and must be in further education (ideally living in the Cambridge area - other SSAGO clubs exist in other towns and cities). This is national SSAGO policy; you will become a member of the Student Scout and Guide Organisation (SSAGO) for insurance etc. The current membership fee for new members is £7, which pays for your membership until the start of the next academic year. Please see the joining FAQ for full details.
Step 1: Complete the form and submit.
(Form is sent encrypted)
Step 2: CRBs
Either:
1. Bring your current (less than 4 years' old) Scout Association/SSAGO CRB/Disclosure Scotland/Access NI Disclaimer to a CUSAGC event to show the club Chair or Secretary.
Or:
2. Print off the Occasional Helper form below, and fill it in using the guidance provided. Bring the form along to a CUSAGC event, along with the required ID documentation, to show the club Chair or Secretary who will check the form and send it off for you.

Step 3: Payment
At the moment we are only accepting payment by cash or cheque (PayPal is being set up). Please send a cheque for £7 and made payable to "CUSAGC"to:
Tim Talbot

King's Parade
CAMBRIDGE
CB2 1ST
Alternatively, students at Cambridge University can send the envelope via internal mail by writing "Tim Talbot, CUSAGC Treasurer, 670, King's College" and "CUSU-MS" on the front. Ask your porters if you don't know how to post this.
Cash or cheques will also be accepted by Tim or Emily (Secretary) at any CUSAGC event which they attend.
You will become a full member as soon as all three steps are completed; CRBs may take some time (up to 2 weeks) to process.
Thank you...
