An Inconvenient Truth
16 October 2007

Film screening and discussion - 7.30pm - COSLETT 117

Did you never get a chance to see this film? Have you already seen it but wish to look deeper into it? Fancy taking part in a discussion after the film? Join Roots & Shoots for a couple of hours! Drinks and biscuits will be provided

Great Global Warming Swindle
23 November 2007

Film screening and discussion - 7.30pm - COSLETT 117

This is the film that caused all the fuss. According to a group of scientists brought together by documentary-maker Martin Durkin, if the planet is heating up, it isn't your fault and there's nothing you can do about it. Join Roots & Shoots for a controversial discussion! Drinks and biscuits will be provided

Trip to the Isle of Arran, Scotland
19 to 24 January 2008

Joint trip Anglia Ruskin Chaplaincy with Roots & Shoots

Enjoy 6 days of nature: birds, seals, rocks... walking, friendship and silent meditation.

Living in a cottage at hardly any cost you get a chance of visiting this island, its natural and historical beauty, Brodick Castle Gardens, Lochranza (where James Hutton discovered how ancient the world is!), the Buddhist Community on Holy Island and Machrie stone circles.
