CommitteeCU PakSoc is a university society looking to represent people of Pakistani
heritage, or anyone interested in Pakistan. The aim of the society is to provide
an opportunity to learn about Pakistani culture and to promote Pakistani identity
in Cambridge. The society helps fellow Pakistanis at Cambridge meet each other,
although anyone can be a member, from any race or background. We organise events
for our members, including garden parties, gatherings, debates, and also organise
sporting teams to compete in tournaments, as well as producing termly newsletters.
We are also looking to introduce 'parent' schemes for Pakistani students coming
to Cambridge, and to help students from abroad in the application and interview
process.
