However, to know if you are making +EV plays, you have to know the math. Poker math is not complicated, but you need to know it to be a successful cash game player.
In case,you are willing to play game with a negative expected value, then you might as well go and play video poker.

Psychology is key in cash poker, especially in no limit hold’em. Understanding how opponents think and why they make certain plays is a crucial skill. Similarly, a good player understands how his actions affect others and is able to use this knowledge to his advantage.
