Marine Tactics:
You Can Snipe The Predators: Remember
that the predators' gun sensors are on so they cannot snipe you. This
also implies that you can snipe them in safety by keeping only your
gun visible.
Choose A Plan:
i)Stay Together: Easier to concentrate fire
power but makes you a larger target.
ii)Spread Out: Makes
you a much less easy target but makes it more difficult to co-ordinate
fire. Possibility of distract and hide tactics which have worked well
before.
Fortify An Area: You'll find that having a clear defensive plan
and roles increases your ability to survive.
Concentrate Your Fire Power: Use
your numerical superiority by laying down concentrated fire at the
predator. With a co-ordinated effort you should be able the keep the
predators in their down time for much longer periods.
The Predators Don't Fear Dying: Predators
might be easy to hit but they are invulnerable which means they may not
behave as expected.
Communicate And Work Together:
Whatever tactic you end up using post sentries to alert you to the
predators' attack vectors.
Spread The Damage: This
especially applies if you are fortifying a location; cycle those in
more vulnerable spots who are low on lives with those who have more.
Remember a marine lost is one less marine to defend with. It's far
better to have all the marines on three lives than to have a few on ten
and the rest dead.
Predator Tactics:
Do Not Play Conservatively: You
will have to be aggressive to win, get up close and personal.
Don't Hide And Snipe: Your gun
sensors are on, the Marines' are off. Enough said. Don't be a retard.
:-)
Use Hit And Run Tactics: Often
camping right in the center of the marines will simply lead to your
continually dying. However using a series of fast attacks you can take
leech off a few lives each time and consistency pays off.
Co-operate With Your Team Mate(s): Co-ordinating
your attacks spreads the fire and increases your chances of obtaining
successful hits.
Go For Groups: Whenever
possible target groups of two or more marines since this increases your
chances of removing a life from the opposing team. If you get the
opportunity to harass an individual marine, take it but don't become
obsessed.
Take Out Annoying Marines: If
there is a particular individual marine who is causing trouble
concentrate your efforts on him first. Alternatively one predator can
target him while the other continues the bombardment on the main group.
