A Happy Family
That is the basis of our theory for running the troupe. We are a member-oriented team of lion dancers. It doesn't matter if you are male or female, of Chinese descent or not, CULDT provides you with a great member-oriented environment to learn about lion-dancing and percussion-playing.
Side benefits of performing include free entries to various events, for instance May Balls, parties and stage shows. Performers at this year's Chinese New Year celebration were treated to a sumptuous dinner at Charlie Chan, an exclusive Chinese restaurant in Cambridge.

Training Sessions
Currently, we train once per week in Bowett Room, Queens' College during term time. Don't worry about forgetting when the sessions are, as you'll receive an email reminding you about it if you're on our mailing list! Just turn up in general sports attire (preferably with loose pants) for the training sessions!
In Lent Term 2010, our practices will mainly be on Tuesdays 7 - 10pm. However, there may be extra practices during the weekends as CNY is our busiest period!
