Club Events

In addition to the matches we play at the weekends, the CUGC conducts, or sends teams to, various other competitions throughout the year. Among the internal club competitions are the Carr Cup and the Linskill Medal, and further information on these competitions is available on this website.

We also send teams to compete in other events in Britain and beyond, including the Boyd Quaich, which is played over the Old and New Courses in St. Andrews, Scotland, the International Student Matchplay event held in Ingolstadt, Germany and the Klenkes Open, played in Aachen Germany.

The CUGC also take part in the Doxbridge Trophy which is a three-way matchplay event between Cambridge, Oxford and Durham Universities held at Aldeburgh Golf Club in Suffolk. We are currently holders of the Doxbridge Trophy and are looking forward to defending our title this September.
