The Boyd Quaich

Founded in 1946, in memory of two St Andrews students who were killed during WWII, the Boyd Quaich Memorial Tournament is an invitational competition, played across both the Old and New Courses. Organised and run by the Athletic Union of the University of St Andrews, it receives significant grant aid from the Royal and Ancient Golf Club with support from the St Andrews Links Trust.

Former Light Blue Benjamin "Bobby" Wescoe (2010-11) won the 2011 Boyd Quaich Memorial Tournament by one shot, carding a five-under par 281 (73, 70, 67, 71), a record for the event.

A report on this year's tournament can be found on the University of St Andrews's sports website: http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/sport/Sport/Golf/BoydQuaich/Report/
