Perfect Fitz |
"Perfect Fitz" was the first venture into the world of recording by the Fitz Swing Band.
Back in 1996 under the musical directorship of Jenny Mills, the band laid down 14 tracks ranging from the well known - Hoagy Carmichael's Stardust and Glenn Miller's Kalamazoo - to the less well known with James Hopkin's reworking of Bizet's La Farandole.
And with the technical nightmare of including strings in the recording it wasn't an easy task. But the result was a CD packed with great fun music - mirrored by the comedy photos - especially Tim on the front and Alex at the keyboard...
To listen to mp3 format selections from the CD, click on the musical notes by each track. As well as snippets from each track, you can also listen to the whole of track 4 - A Foggy Day In London Town.
