CUES Header
Welcome to the website of Cambridge University Engineering Society

Engineering is a career both maligned as overly masculine hard labour and glorified over the ages as the foundation upon which society has progressed. Often misconstrued as nothing more than plumbers, mechanics and common builders, engineers are the bridge between the scientific world and practical realities, envisioning, designing and finally bringing to life societies’ wildest dreams!

With a membership mainly composed of students at CUED, although aimed at anyone with an interest in the field of engineering, the Cambridge University Engineering Society exists in order to foster a love for the various fields of engineering, to stimulate discussion on pressing technology issues of our time, to act as a social nexus for students from across the university and to bridge the gap between engineering studies and industry through our contacts with our sponsors.

CUES is your link to the world beyond the Cambridge bubble. We have something for everyone…so don’t miss out!
