The CUCRS is a student led organisation supported by leading scientists and funded thanks to the generosity of a wide variety of benefactors. It was founded in order to foster interest in medical research amongst medical students.
It serves to inform students of advances in the diverse fields of medical research and to provide an environment for interaction with leading researchers, in order to facilitate the free exchange of ideas and concepts. The society aims to provide opportunities for student involvement in medical research and to reward any exceptional student research projects.
