Valentine's Day Formal
Valentine's may be perceived by the lonely as an exclusive day for couples only, but not when ChiSoc is involved! All our lovely members are cordially invited to join us for a Valentines' Day Formal on 13th Feb (Tuesday, not the 14th!) in one of the hill colleges - Churchill, which offers a balanced blend of modernity, solphistication, mystery and romance.
If you are single, there's even more reason to come! To make the night a special occasion, we will strive to achieve a balanced ratio of guys to girls, such that everyone gets to sit next to a member of the opposite sex!
For those lucky ones who are coming with a partner, you are most welcome to tell us beforehand so that we can arrange for you two to sit together; for those of you who are single but have that special someone in mind, well...you've got the weekend and you know what to do!
There will also be a special competition with a luxury box of chocolate as the prize - more about that later!
This event is heavily subsidised by us, and it costs a mere 4 pounds each for our members. There is no corkage fee so please feel free to bring your own wine; wine is also on sale in Churchill bar from ¢G4 upwards.
To book a place, please email Alice (NSAL2) on or before 11th Feb, and give us the cheque on the day (cheque payable to 'Cambridge University Chinese Society'). Please also inform us if you wish to have the vegetarian option.
As places are very limited, do act now to avoid disappointment! It's guaranteed to be a fabulous night and we look forward to seeing you all that night!
